Beverly Grove & Carthay

Beverly Grove & Carthay

If you need to be in the thick of it, these neighborhoods of beautiful character homes shaded under tree lined streets has what you’re looking for.

Just on the border of Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, it’s bustling avenues lead you to The Grove, The Beverly Center, 3rd Street Shops, and an abundance of fabulous restaurants. My favorite foodie spots on West 3rd Street are: Joan’s on Third for fabulous baked goods, amazing cheese counter and prepared appetizers you can heat up at home; Toast for brunch - tho it can get quite busy on weekends, so prepare to wait; Little Door - perhaps my favorite restaurant altogether. My go-to special occasion, date-night spot with an enchanting patio, well-crafted cocktails, wonderful wine list, and food inspired by French and Moroccan cuisines.

If you haven’t yet found your way to the Grove or the Original Farmer’s Market at Third and Fairfax, it’s definitely worth a trip. The farmers market features multi-ethnic food stalls, fresh produce, live music, events and karaoke. The Grove has excellent dining, shopping, movie theaters, winter “snow” and concerts in their park.

La Cienega Park, which borders Carthay just South of Wilshire Blvd, is a great place to work out in the sunshine with public outdoor exercise equipment.
